the rumors of how and why the i.v. league started are all over the internet right now. the name of the group is even more of a topic. "so what does I.V. stand for exactly? ILL VERBALISTS?" well, yes. that also ties in with the various references to I.V. machines and 5 million other things. the fact that the group was started by Ivan Ives has NOTHING to do with it. No, really. now you're also probably thinking, aren't there probably 14 other groups on MySpace called "the i.v. league"? the answer is probably yes. the difference though is we don't consider ourselves a "MySpace group." we all live in or near los angeles and we all have distinct MC styles that you won't find anywhere else. when we bring all of our styles and stories together, you get the i.v. league project. all of our tracks have different flavor to them, from track to track you're going to get lots of variety with this group. everything we do is in the name of hip hop, and we are here trying to bring you the best underground hip hop.
